The first image creates an emotional response by playing on the cliche idea that men want large penises and the overused photo of foot prints in the sand. Because of this the viewer has a humorous reaction and it tells them that you will have a large penis if you buy these condoms. In the second image the product is shown as a discovery and the models are full of excitement. The color scheme gives it a paradise feel and along with the boat a sense of adventure. The third image uses the idea of patriotism since it is for the olympics as a positive idea. The people in the swimmers country are holding him up and he is representing them. The idea of everyone working together goes along with idea that the olympics brings countries together. All of these ideas show how these artists created a positive emotional response.
Negative Images
The first image uses the idea that if you do not buy this lawn equipment your yard will attack you. This makes viewers have a response that is humorous but also the thought of their lawn overgrowing. The second image is also humorous but in using Hitler as the model gives the Gap store a negative connotation since he is wearing their product. The last image uses the repetition of graves to show how many have died of cigarettes giving it a negative feel.
